About the Molten Core Attunement Boost
Molten Core attunement is the gating step for Phase 1 raid entry in Classic Era. Without the Attunement to the Core spell, your character cannot teleport into the raid (no walk-in entrance exists). The questline requires entering Blackrock Depths and collecting seven Core Fragments from specific rooms — Detention Block, Shadowforge City, Lyceum, and other locations inside the dungeon.
The fragments do not drop from mobs; they appear as world objects in fixed spawn locations that respawn slowly. A single BRD run typically yields three to five fragments depending on path coverage. Most attunements require one to two BRD runs total to gather all seven.
