A Heroic clear of each dungeon is the gate before any Gold attempt is even possible. That's a one-time prerequisite per dungeon and is the only condition outside of the level 90 and subscription baseline. If your Monk has already cleared the Heroic versions, the boost moves straight to Gold runs. If not, the gate has to be cleared first, either by you or by a separate completion arrangement before the order opens.
Why the Monk Set Is Worth Pulling Now
Challenge Mode armor in Mists of Pandaria Classic is a vanishing-window cosmetic in the broader expansion cycle. Each class has its own eight-piece set, and the Monk version — Regal Lord Armor — uses a leather model unique to the class that no other plate, mail, or cloth user can wear in matching form.
