Elite PvP Set Boost Overview
The Elite PvP set in Mists of Pandaria Classic is the visual and stat upgrade over the standard Malevolent Gladiator gear. It sits at 483 item level and unlocks once your Arena Rating crosses 2200 in any bracket — that rating gate is the seasonal mark that separates standard PvP characters from the upper-bracket pushers. The Elite version of the set carries an enhanced visual treatment that's only available to characters who reach the 2200 line within the active season.
The boost handles both halves of the unlock chain. The rating push lands the 2200 mark in a single Arena bracket, which opens Elite gear access at the vendor. The Conquest stack accumulated during the rating climb is then spent on the Elite pieces. The set is class-locked: the booster delivers the version tuned to your specialization.
What the Set Delivers
The 483 item level Elite Malevolent Gladiator set is the headline. Every slot is covered — head, shoulders, chest, hands, legs, boots, belt, and bracers. The Elite-tier appearance has the visual upgrade over the standard Malevolent set, which is the cosmetic flex that makes the set worth chasing for collection-focused PvP players.
The 2200 rating mark also unlocks side rewards on its own. The rated enchant illusion tied to the upper bracket lands, the season-tagged cloak appearance opens, and any rated PvP achievements that fire at 2200 sign off on your character. Conquest income accumulated during the push that exceeds the set cost stays in your currency tab for other purchases.

The order form asks for the starting rating, current PvP gear status, and class/spec preferences. Piloted is the default method — rating pushes in the 1800-to-2200 range run cleaner with our team handling match-making and composition. Self-Play slots are offered where the schedule fits, usually for shorter individual sessions.
If the character doesn't have full Honor gear or Conquest gear yet, the relevant gear options can be added to the order so the gear floor is handled before the rating climb starts. The 1800 floor unlocks Conquest gear access; reaching 2200 then opens Elite. The manager confirms the gear chain and time slots in chat after checkout. The set delivers once 2200 is hit and the Conquest spend completes — usually inside a single rating push if the character starts at competitive gear level.
Elite PvP Set FAQ
Does the Elite appearance work after the season ends?
The Elite appearance is account-locked to the season the rating was earned in. Once the appearance unlocks on your character, it stays in the transmog wardrobe permanently — even after the season closes. The gear itself loses stat relevance over time, but the appearance remains usable for transmog on any character that meets the standard armor-class requirement.
Can I get the Elite set on multiple characters?
The 2200 rating requirement applies per character. The Elite set unlocks on the specific character that reached the rating, not account-wide. A separate boost on a different character covers the Elite set on that one. The Conquest currency itself is character-bound and can't be transferred between characters.
How long does the rating climb take?
Pacing depends on starting rating and gear status. A character at Conquest-equipped gear starting around 1500 rating typically reaches 2200 in a few scheduled sessions. Starting from a lower rating or without the gear floor extends the schedule. The manager scopes the session count after checkout based on the inputs.
