Arena 5v5 Rating Boost Overview
The Arena 5v5 Rating Boost from BuyTheWin pushes your Mists of Pandaria Classic 5v5 rating from where it currently sits up to the target you set on the order — anywhere from sub-1500 to 2200. Five-man arena is the deepest bracket in this expansion: composition matters, peeling matters, target calling matters, and a single misstep in a kill window costs the round. Our team brings Multi-Glad and Rank 1 players to fill the other slots, which removes the random-team variance that stalls solo pushes.
Rating gates in 5v5 work the same as the smaller brackets. 1550 opens basic Conquest weapons, 1800 opens the Elite Transmog set, 2000 unlocks Elite Weapon access for players holding consistent 5v5 wins, and 2200 layers in the enchant illusion and cloak reserved for high-rated arena pushers.
What the Climb Earns
Conquest Points pile up as the rating climbs. Every win at the rated level deposits Conquest into your weekly cap, and that currency is what buys the rest of the PvP gear from the arena vendors. By the time your rating sits in the upper bracket, the Conquest accumulated during the climb is usually enough to fill out the remaining slots without separate farming.
The visible rewards are the harder pull. The 1800 Elite Transmog set is a season-locked appearance — once the season closes, the look isn't earnable through normal play. The 2200 enchant illusion and matching cloak are even tighter: they're reserved for players who held the rating at the end of the season, and the boost is the most direct path to clearing the gate while there's still time on the clock.
Booking the Boost on BuyTheWin
Piloted is the default completion method for 5v5 boosting — five coordinated players is hard to schedule around live Self-Play, but Self-Play slots are available where the schedule fits. The order form asks for your starting rating, target rating, and any class or spec preferences that affect composition. After checkout, a manager confirms the time blocks in chat.
If you don't have full Honor gear or Conquest gear yet, both can be added as gear options on the order so you start the push with the gear floor the bracket needs. The 0-to-1800 segment runs on Honor gear; 1800-to-2200 needs Conquest or Elite for tuning to hold up against ladder rivals. The order is closed when the rating target is reached and the relevant achievements, transmog access, or season unlocks land on your character.
Arena 5v5 Boost FAQ
Do I need to be in the team during the matches?
No. Piloted is the standard method — our PvP players run the games on your character from start to finish. Self-Play is offered where the schedule lines up, but coordinating five live players in real time is harder than 2v2 or 3v3, so Piloted is the practical default for 5v5 specifically.
What happens if my rating drops during the push?
The order is locked to the final target you booked. If a rough session pulls rating below the starting point, the team continues pushing through follow-on sessions until the original target is reached. No partial closures — the rating has to hit the booked value before the order closes.
Can I keep playing my own arena games during the boost?
Self-set matches you play outside the booked sessions stay on your record normally. The boost runs during the scheduled time blocks only. Rating earned in your own games adds to the climb and shortens the booster sessions; rating lost in your own games is recovered during the next booked block.
